Introduced by a mutual friend, we met for the first time in the summer of 2007. We backpacked the Lost Coast in Northern California, spending a week on the trail getting to know each other. Four years later, we were married on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. One of the best things about our relationship is our mutual love of travel. We enjoy visiting both big cities (like Tokyo) and small, out-of-the-way locales (like the island of Ofu in American Samoa).
